The experience

Three hours in the food forest. Weeding, planting, tending fire, sharing food.

No agenda beyond showing up and getting your hands in the earth. We work together, we rest together, we eat together. This is not a workshop or a retreat, it's simply a Sunday afternoon spent doing something real, alongside people who feel the same pull toward soil and community.

At our beautiful, rural farmhouse from 1901, sustainably renovated with respect for nature, you will find peace and space. The farm features a small meadow with four horses, an orchard full of fruit trees, a flourishing vegetable garden, and a pond filled with water lilies, ducks, and frogs, accompanied by a cheerful choir of birds.

Miss & Tommie, our farm cats, and our Bernese Mountain Dog, Balou, warmly welcome you to Little Dutch Farm, where nature and simplicity come together.

Meet your host

Little Dutch Farm

7 years running experiences

Kim Taylor runs nature coaching, day retreats, garden therapy and leadership programmes from a regenerative farm in West-Friesland — a typical Dutch stolp farmhouse built in 1901, about 35 minutes north of Amsterdam. The land does the work alongside her: a meadow with four horses, an orchard, a vegetable garden and a pond. Every session is fully outdoors, in whatever weather the day brings. Kim came to this after nineteen years in sustainability start-ups and scale-ups, and after her own burnout.
