For entrepreneurs and businesses
An investment in a person, not a perk.
Are you a leader, considering sending one of your people, or yourself, on a NatureTreats journey? Here is what that involves, what we arrange on your behalf, and what you should know before you book.
- A person reads every listing before it appears
- The money is held in a client account until afterwards
- Every trip states the insurance it needs
Not for
Leaders who want their people to simply work hard, listen, and do what they are told needs doing.
For
Leaders who sense that every high potential walks their own journey, and who know that nature brings insight, clarity and connection.
That makes for people with more passion, more engagement, and impact beyond the imaginable.
It is an investment in the high potential and a contribution to a sustainable world, and with that, a contribution to the organisation they come back to.
What NatureTreats arranges
Four things you would otherwise have to sort out yourself, or take on trust from a supplier you have never met.
Every trip states the insurance it needs
Each listing sets out the cover that trip asks for, from none at all through to helicopter evacuation in the Himalayas. Some hosts include cover in their price and say so on the listing. Where they do not, arranging it is yours to do, and you will know exactly what you are arranging before anyone books.
The money is held in a client account
Payment goes into a third-party client account rather than straight to the host, and it is released 3 days after the experience ends. If the trip does not go ahead, the money comes back to you.
We work only with experienced guides
A person reads every listing before it appears. They check the guide's credentials, confirm the photographs are of the real experience, and trace every testimonial back to the place it was published. A listing that falls short goes back to the host with notes.
Professional preparation and aftercare
The journey is prepared for beforehand and followed up afterwards, so that what happens out there settles into how someone works and lives, rather than fading on the flight home.
What to be aware of before you book
Two things we would rather you heard from us than found out later.
Some of these trips are genuinely remote
Depending on the terrain, a journey can be physically demanding and a long way from a hospital or any other facility, a day or more in a few cases. Every listing says which it is, and you can filter on terrain and on how hard the walking is before you look at anything.
It can touch things that do not stay at work
The deeper journeys are transformative by design. They can reach parts of someone's life that are not always comfortable to look at, and they can change what a person wants from their work, their relationships and the rest of their life. That is the point of them, and it is worth knowing before you send anyone.
Have a look at what is on offer
Filter by how deep the journey goes, how hard the walking is, and what insurance it asks for, before you speak to anyone.
