The experience

A regenerative leader sees an organisation as a living system, not a machine. Where conventional leadership optimises for control, efficiency and endless growth, often at the expense of people and planet, regenerative leadership asks: what conditions allow life to thrive here? It integrates inner and outer work: the leader’s presence, nervous system and purpose matter as much as strategy. Regenerative leaders work with natural cycles, see diversity and tension as sources of resilience, invest in the quality of relationships, and make decisions with future generations in mind. They don’t just aim to do less harm; they aim to leave people, teams and the planet more alive than they found them.

Nature has been showing us how for billions of years. A forest has no CEO, yet it self-organises, shares resources through mycelial networks, rests in winter and grows stronger through diversity. Indigenous wisdom echoes this: the Haudenosaunee principle of considering seven generations ahead.

Tis is a one-day immersive experience

It brings 10 to 15 leaders who sense it is time for a paradigm shift together on a regenerative farm for a day of slowing down, reconnecting and reimagining how they lead. Following the arc of Theory U, the day moves from letting go of old patterns, through a moment of stillness and deep listening, towards new ways of leading.

Leaders open in a council circle around the fire and reflect honestly on where their leadership depletes rather than nourishes. They then step into nature as teacher: the soil, hedgerows and seasons of the farm reveal living-system principles such as connection, diversity, cycles and renewal, and how these apply to teams and organisations.

Participants leave grounded, inspired and connected to a community of like-minded leaders, with a clear first step towards leadership that regenerates people and planet.

Little Dutch Farm

7 years running experiences

Kim Taylor runs nature coaching, day retreats, garden therapy and leadership programmes from a regenerative farm in West-Friesland — a typical Dutch stolp farmhouse built in 1901, about 35 minutes north of Amsterdam. The land does the work alongside her: a meadow with four horses, an orchard, a vegetable garden and a pond. Every session is fully outdoors, in whatever weather the day brings. Kim came to this after nineteen years in sustainability start-ups and scale-ups, and after her own burnout.
