The experience

This program offers people with burnout a safe, small-scale space to begin their recovery. Six or twelve weeks of guidance, with gardening and nature coaching to restore clarity and resilience. Nature as co-facilitator: use the land and sensory experiences to release stress and find fresh perspectives.

This Garden Therapy Program welcomes those dealing with burnout, anxiety or depression.

Garden therapy is proven to reduce stress and anxiety. On the farm, tasks are simple and repetitive, making it easy to get into a state of “flow”. When we're in this harmonious flow, our body, mind, and surroundings align, promoting recovery and well-being.

Meet your host

Little Dutch Farm

7 years running experiences

Kim Taylor runs nature coaching, day retreats, garden therapy and leadership programmes from a regenerative farm in West-Friesland — a typical Dutch stolp farmhouse built in 1901, about 35 minutes north of Amsterdam. The land does the work alongside her: a meadow with four horses, an orchard, a vegetable garden and a pond. Every session is fully outdoors, in whatever weather the day brings. Kim came to this after nineteen years in sustainability start-ups and scale-ups, and after her own burnout.
