The experience
In the heart of Norway lies Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park: a rugged mountain area of broad valleys, tundra and high plateaus, shaped by wind, water and time. One of the last habitats of the ancient musk ox in Europe, which has roamed freely here since the last ice age.
We trek for several days on foot through this massif, from hut to hut, through valleys and over mountain passes. Sometimes in a mountain hut, sometimes with a tent in the middle of the landscape. A place where nature is grand and the days are simple.
While walking, space arises. For conversation, for silence, for wonder. We bring an exercise or question that helps you pause and consider what is going on. That can be something concrete, or precisely something that has no words yet.

- You are open to simplicity: living out of a backpack, sleeping in huts or tents, being on the road together

Nature's Playground
5 years running experiences
Niels Thijssen and Alexander “Ali” Gerritse take individuals, teams and organisations into the wild so that they come home, in their own words, “essentially different”. Their working idea is awe — the moment nature is so much bigger than your own story that the mind briefly falls silent and perspective shifts. Programmes run from a single day in Dutch woodland up to four-month trajectories built around an expedition in Italy, South Africa, Norway or Slovakia, and they also run a free monthly Community Hike.
