The experience

This expedition gives families space and time to reconnect in the stillness of the mountains.

You walk together from the village of Rassa, up through alpine trails to the Alpe Selvaccia basecamp — 22 hectares of meadow and pine forest, with rustic huts, fire circles, a tipi and a yoga platform looking out at Monte Rosa.

Local hosts provide authentic Italian hospitality and mountain guidance. Days move at your own pace: hiking, sunrise walks in silence, sharing circles, treehouse contests, writing a family song, and pizza from the stone oven in the evening.

They call the facilitator team the Tribe: Quirine, Fenneke, Tjeerd, Marit, Kalijn, Fernanda, Raymond, Robert-Jan, Benny and others, working alongside local Italian hosts and mountain guides.
